My dear ones, you should know that today, the world needs the Holy Quran whether it accepts and acknowledges it or not. Today, the world suffers from a void of identity, ideology and faith. A faithless individual is like an empty fruit. This is the reason why you see that the rate of murder and crime is increasing in western countries on a daily basis. This is one of the reasons. When you see that the rate of suicide is increasing, this is one of the reasons.
Humanity no longer has any food to satiate the minds, hearts and souls of individuals. Of course, they fabricate certain things, but this is not accepted by the hearts of peoples. However, the Holy Quran can do so. If only one drop of the Holy Quran – not the entire Holy Quran, only one drop of it – is sent to people with a proper language, then hearts will be attracted to it. We ourselves are experiencing and witnessing this today. Today, humanity needs the Holy Quran.
Although we live in a world of natural abundance, of divine grace and providence, unfortunately due to lack of empathy, compassion and solidarity among human beings, there are many throughout the globe who still struggle with hunger, poverty, lack and scarcity.
When a Muslim observes fasting in Ramadan, he or she feels the hunger that many experience daily as a normal consequence of their circumstances.
By fasting in Ramadan, we develop the holy qualities of empathy and compassion, becoming more aware of our intrinsic connection and oneness with all human beings regardless of borders or labels that create artificial separation among the citizens of the human rac.
When we talk about the age of ignorance it usually reminds us of previous centuries particularly the period before Islam. But did only the people of those ages live in ignorance and the time of ignorance has expired once and for all?
To answer this question first we should find a reliable source which is definitely the Quran and the traditions of the infallibles and second we should define the word ignorant.
Ignorant is the opposite of rational. Man's behaviors are either based on reason or not. The behaviors which are based on the faculty of reason are called rational and the ones which are not based on reason and the intellect are described as ignorant. Therefor as long as man lives and he does not follow his intellect, ignorant behaviors will be unavoidable. Ignorance has different applications. Sometimes it means lack of knowledge, sometimes it means living in a primitive way, and sometimes it means the state in which crime, violence, prejudice and wrong customs spread in the society. Naming the a period before Islam as the time of ignorance is because ignorant behaviors were commonplace and widespread among people like an illness which afflicts an organism and there was no hope for a way out till Islam emerged and eradicated wrong customs.
Modern science calls this phenomenon “the laws of nature,” but these laws of nature, from an Islamic perspective, are not just any laws of nature but the laws of Allah for nature. Human beings, as creatures of Allah who are in need of Him throughout their entire lives, must also surrender their wills and desires to the will of the Almighty, the Creator.

It is not permissible for a Muslim to spread rumors, gossip, or engage in backbiting one another.
Islam teaches the believers to validate their sources, and not engage in conjecture. Repeatedly in the Quran, Muslims are warned about the sins of the tongue.

If you are in a position that requires you to educate small girls, educate them well. If you are in a place where your position is to propagate, then do so well. All segments of the population in whatever post they may occupy must carry out their duties well.

One of the most significant effects of this movement is the change brought about in all of you, in the ladies, in the brothers and sisters alike. That change is the sense of duty that we all now feel, a duty to our country, a duty to educate, to educate people in those things that will be useful to them in religious and worldly affairs. 16 September 1979 (25 Shahrivar 1358 AHS)
